Hawk Preview Days: Discover Your People—Your Place in the Illinois Tech Community
Illinois Tech is a unique place where you will find students who share similar interests and see the world with a sense of curiosity. Hawk Preview Days is a series of events for admitted students that are designed to help you get to know the university community and to help picture yourself as a student here.
This year we're planning a series of three Hawk Preview Day sessions in February, March, and April. Each session will be an interactive virtual experience enabling admitted students from around the world to meet one another and connect over common interests and goals. The first session will take place February 17–19.
During this first session—titled Discover Your People: Your Place in the Illinois Tech Community—you will meet your classmates for the first time and hear from students who “found their people” at Illinois Tech, as well as how they created friendships with students from different walks of life, all driven by the desire to learn more about the world around them.
You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you want. Sessions will take place in the evening from 6:30–8 p.m. (Central Standard Time) and are designed to be as interactive as possible.
Keynote speakers will include Illinois Tech students Isaiah Mays (Aerospace Engineering 1st Year; St. Louis) and Norina Balderas (Computer Information Systems 4th Year; Crown Point, Indiana).
