International Education Week: Cooking Class with the Indian Student Association
The Indian Student Association will teach you how to cook jalebi, an Indian dessert featuring all-purpose flour, ghee, sugar, and saffron.
Jalebi is an Indian sweet snack that is popular across South Asia and the Middle East. It is made by deep-frying maida flour batter in pretzel or circular shapes, which are then soaked in sugar syrup. This dessert can be served warm or cold. In India, many people consider jalebi as its national sweet, though that has not been authorized by the government of India yet.
