M.P.A. Program Speaker Series: Gordon Brown

Gordon Brown, the CEO of Space Analytics, LLC will speak about “Long -Term Real Estate Trends and Its Impact on the Middle Class” in the first of the M.P.A. Program’s 2020 Speaker Series.

Space Analytics works to solve functional and economic problems of built environments from the perspective of owners and users. Their current projects involved hydroprocessing plant control rooms, architectural design competitions, hospitality, design in valuation contexts, shopping streets, very large luxury houses, and public space.

Gordon Brown began his career in city planning and management consulting. He has worked in and taught architecture as a designer, project architect and manager at two small firms and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Illinois Institute of Technology, Arizona State University, and the University of Colorado. In 2005, he became Head of the Real Estate Management and Development Group at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands and a few years later Aldar Dean of Business at the Higher Colleges of Technology in the United Arab Emirates. 

His degrees include Master of Business Administration, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania; Master of Science (Architecture), The Bartlett School, University College London; and Doctor of Technology in Built Environment, Ulster University, Northern Ireland.
