Princess Tiana Sneaker Ball

The Black Student Union presents the Princess Tiana Sneaker Ball, taking place on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 7–11 p.m. in the Hermann Hall Ballroom. Tickets for this event are available at the registration link below.

The Princess Tiana Sneaker Ball is a social event for all students to enrich campus spirit and bring the campus together on a more communicative level. This is also an event celebrating Black culture through a historical sneaker ball and Disney’s first African American princess, Princess Tiana. The event is being celebrated on the last day of Black History Month to remind Black students that they as people, as a culture, throughout the diaspora, are worth celebrating without bringing up the continuous oppression that they encounter in their daily lives.
