Aerospace Engineering (B.S.)/Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (M.ENG.)
Illinois Tech’s Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering/Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering accelerated master's program allows students the opportunity to pursue advanced studies and complete both degrees in as few as five years.
Our undergraduate aerospace engineering program explores both the design and manufacturing of aircrafts, as well as the design and flight of vehicles beyond Earth’s atmosphere. Knowledge of aerodynamics, structures and materials, propulsion systems, and flight mechanics and controls are important to this field. The graduate program in mechanical and aerospace engineering is focused on broadening student potential and enhancing technical versatility.
Students in this program will develop a high level of competence in engineering science, current technology, and engineering design for successful careers in the industry.
