Illinois Tech's undergraduate program in chemistry provides rigorous education in the fundamental areas of chemical theory and chemical experimentation. Undergraduate training provides a solid foundation in all of the five basic areas of chemistry: analytical, inorganic, organic, physical, and biochemistry.
The program is designed to be taken entirely online, either by full-time or part-time study. Acquiring advanced hands-on laboratory experience is available by taking the suggested laboratory courses as electives.

Students applying to the Accelerated Master's Program must have completed at least 60 credit hours of applicable undergraduate study and at least one full semester, or 12 credit hours, at the university. Students must be at least one full-time semester, or 12 credit hours, away from undergraduate degree completion in order to apply.
Applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
