Civil Engineering (B.S.)/Construction Engineering and Management (M.ENG.)
Illinois Tech’s Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Master of Engineering in Construction Engineering and Management accelerated master's program allows students the opportunity to pursue advanced studies and complete both degrees in as few as five years.
Our undergraduate civil engineering program provides breadth in core sub-disciplines (including structures, transportation, and construction management) and depth in at least one area of specialization (at the discretion of the student and academic adviser).
The graduate program in construction engineering and management equips students with in-depth knowledge and background that will enable them to make decisions at site, company, industrial, and sector levels.
Students will learn the fundamentals of science, engineering management, and business administration by concentrating on the development of critical-thinking skills directed toward practical problem-solving and informed decision-making.

The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Master of Engineering in Construction Engineering and Management accelerated master's degree program will prepare you for such careers as:

Students applying to the Accelerated Master’s Program must have completed at least 60 credit hours with at least one full semester (12 credit hours) of applicable undergraduate study at the university.
Students must be at least one full-time semester (12 credit hours) away from undergraduate degree completion in order to apply.
Applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0; however, please consult individual departments for specific minimum GPA requirements.
