Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering (M.S.)
Illinois Tech’s Master of Science in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering dual-degree program prepares students for advanced study, research, and careers in computer and electrical engineering. Our program provides a strong foundation in all aspects of the design and development of computer systems, in addition to offering several areas of study within electrical engineering.
Students will be introduced to key topics within the computer engineering field, such as computer hardware design, computer networks, and software engineering. In addition, students will gain knowledge on such electrical engineering topics as communications and signal processing, electronics and electromagnetics, and power and control systems.

The Master of Science in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering provides a strong foundation in computer hardware design, computer networks, and software engineering. Gain in-depth knowledge on communications and signal processing, electronics and electromagnetics, and power and control systems.
Students whose accredited bachelor’s degree is not in computer and/or electrical engineering may pursue this degree program provided they demonstrate proficiency as outlined in the course bulletin.
