The admission requirements for this degree follow the existing admission requirements for master’s degrees in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering:

  • Minimum cumulative undergraduate grade-point average: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Minimum TOEFL scores: 80 (internet-based test) or 550 (paper-based test)

Students who have earned an accredited bachelor of science degree in a discipline other than electrical or computer engineering may pursue the master’s in electrical and computer engineering provided they have an adequate background and can demonstrate proficiency in the material.
