Engineering Management (B.S.)/Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.)
The Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management program prepares students to work in many different environments where management contributes to the success of engineering projects.
Similarly, the Master of Public Administration will further advance your education and prepare you for a leadership position with the critical management skills you’ll need to succeed.
Students will learn the fundamentals of science, engineering management, and business administration by concentrating on the development of critical thinking skills directed toward practical problem solving and informed decision-making.
Coursework includes organizational behavior, policy design analytics, and project management.

Career Opportunities
The Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management/Master of Public Administration accelerated master’s degree program will prepare you for such careers as:
- Public works engineer
- Construction project engineer
- Director of facilities and construction

Students applying to the Accelerated Master’s Program co-terminal option must have completed at least 60 credit hours with at least one full semester (12 credit hours) of applicable undergraduate study at the university.
Students must be at least one full-time semester (12 credit hours) away from undergraduate degree completion in order to apply.
Applicants are required to have a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; however, please consult individual departments for specific minimum grade-point average requirements.
