Materials Science (Minor)
Armour College of Engineering offers the Minor in Materials Science to prepare students to explore modern technology and combine knowledge of their major with a background in materials science. Students will be prepared to study connections between materials’ structure and performance, including semiconductors, nanotechnology, and bio-materials. In addition, they will learn how newly engineered materials can be used to advance the future of technology.
Coursework may include such topics as structures and properties of materials, manufacturing processes, and advanced aerospace materials composites.

The Minor in Materials Science consists of at least five courses (minimum of 15 credit hours).
