Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?
I was looking for a career related to medicine but more towards problem solving and technology. Biomedical Engineering will give me the opportunity to help medicine and human health advance through technological and scientific research.
What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?
My favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program is the people. When doing anything Camras related I feel surrounded by others who are passionate about their studies and I can't help but feel inspired.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
In 20 years I see myself having built a successful life and perhaps working in some type of medical related lab to give back to others through medicine.
How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?
Since joining IIT I have been organizing study groups amongst my friends and other classmates for every subject. I find that working together helps us grasp our learning objectives and succeed.
