Bachelor of Science, Juris Doctor in Global Studies with a minor in Architecture, Expected Graduation: 2024
Student Organization Involvement
Honors Law Program, CAIR Chicago
Why did you choose your major/what do you want to do with your degree?
I grew up learning and indulging myself in the different cultures and places of the world. This brought me to Law, wanting to help represent the diverse voices we have in our country. Like individuals, Nations possess distinct cultures and personalities, creating their own perspectives. Global studies allows for people to understand this and learn to advance nationally and globally. With knowledge garnered from my major, I aspire to improve my perspective, help our country make improvements for all people, and form harmonious relationships nationally and globally.
What is your favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program?
My favorite thing about the Camras Scholars Program is the community and how it provides IIT students with opportunities, guidance, and help.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
Working to help create a more inclusive and safe environment for all people with my family by my side
How do you think you best represent what it means to be a Camras scholar?
My interest in art and learning about the different people and cultures that make up our world have driven me to share their stories and in whatever way I can to such people through leadership, service, and research. I work as a journalist, photographer, and graphic designer - both freelance and under CAIR Chicago - to promote civil rights and individuality. I work as the Vice President of Finances under Camras and I've hosted an art charity where %100 precedes were donated to local charities.
