Ghazale Haddadian

  • Clinical Associate Professor of Operations and Energy Management

Ghazale Haddadian is clinical associate professor of operations and energy management at Stuart School of Business. Her research explores analytical models for economic and strategic operation of power systems, large-scale system optimization, high penetration renewable energy applications, smart grid operation, integration of electric vehicles in smart grids, and the costs and benefits of environmental quality and society’s energy choices.

While completing her doctoral studies at Stuart, Dr. Haddadian was a business analyst at Practical Environmental Consultants, Inc. She is also collaborating with Illinois Tech Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation to facilitate the means of providing clean, affordable, and reliable electrical energy to empower the powerless and boost shared prosperity in underprivileged areas of the world. This work will contribute to creating opportunity for billions of people, positively impacting their economic growth, social progress, equity, and environmental sustainability while generating significant business opportunities.
