Liam Coffey
- Emeritus Associate Professor of Physics
Education
B.S. Trinity College Dublin
Ph.D. University of Chicago
Research Interests
Liam Coffey's research involves the theoretical study of high temperature superconductors. In recent years this has centered on strong coupling calculations of spin-fluctuations as the origin of the pairing mechanism in these materials.
