Michael Rybak

  • Clinical Associate Professor of Finance

Michael Rybak is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Public Accountant. He is a clinical associate professor of finance at Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business, where he teaches graduate investment-related courses including financial statement analysis (applications), asset valuation, corporate finance, and investment banking. Previously, he taught finance undergraduate and graduate courses at DePaul University for 12 years.

Since 1998, Rybak has been actively involved in teaching CFA exam-related courses in the Stalla CFA Review Program, DePaul University CFA Review Program, and Schweser CFA Review Program. Rybak was the lead instructor in charge of the Chicago-based Stalla CFA Review program for 10 years and a member of the national editorial staff. In addition, Rybak has been a member of the Becker CPA editorial team since 2012 involved in creating new student textbooks and exam question material. 

His professional experience includes over 25 years of work in commercial and investment banking, risk management, and consulting industries.
