ACE Entrepreneurs Needed for Start-up Event: Campus 1871

We’re excited to announce an incredible opportunity for Armour College of Engineering students at 1871, Chicago’s hub for tech startups. Campus 1871 is a weekend-long (April 4-6), start-up weekend-style event for students at Northwestern, University of Chicago, University of Illinois, and Illinois Institute of Technology.

Here, you will have the opportunity to meet some of the brightest and most ambitious students from these other universities as you work in teams to create startups of your own. All the while, you will be able to work with some of Chicago’s most talented founders and startup teams as they serve as mentors and teach Startup 101 courses, and hear from keynotes from surprise tech leaders.

The best part: there is a surprise Grand Prize for the winners, including membership at 1871 to continue building your companies!

We will be selecting 30 students from each school and are looking for Hackers (devs), Hipsters (designers), and Hustlers (business aficionados) to participate in building startups.

1871 will be providing transportation for students from Northwestern and U of I, and will be providing complimentary hotel rooms in the Holiday Inn just across the street from 1871 in the Apparel Mart.
