BFP lunchtime discussion with Adam Gopnik on Moon Man

In honor of the 450th birthday anniversaries of Shakespeare and Galileo this year, the Benjamin Franklin Project at IIT will host four lunchtime discussions about their works, lives, and legacies.

On Oct. 8, Adam Gopnik will be here to discuss Moon Man (10 pp.) Adam Gopnik is a renowned writer especially known for his essays for The New Yorker.This essay gives an introductory look at Galileo’s life and legacy.

This reading group leads the way for a gala conference on Galileo and Shakespeare, to be held on November 13 and 14, 2014, which is open to all members of the public and the IIT community.
