Bystander Intervention Training

This training, facilitated by the People's Response Team and hosted by Illinois Tech's Coalition on Inclusion, focuses on ways to intervene in public instances of racist, anti-Black, anti-Muslim, anti-Trans, and other forms of oppressive interpersonal violence and harassment while considering the safety of all parties. In addition to group discussion, the training utilizes role-plays as a primary tool in practicing intervention techniques and learning new ways to protect ourselves and our communities.

This training is open to all Illinois Tech students, faculty, and staff. Space is limited to the first 50 people who RSVP. Please send your RSVP to Tara Butterfield.
