All Illinois Tech students are invited to hear Vice President, Chief Data and Analytics Officer Amarnath Gurivireddygari from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island talk about careers in analytics on Thursday, April 1, at 4–5 p.m. CDT.
Prior to joining Blue Cross Blue Shield, Gurivireddygari served as chief data and analytics officer the provider-owned health plan MedStar Family Choice in Maryland, where he oversaw data warehousing, analytics and predictive modeling, and data governance and reporting. He has also served as vice president and chief data officer at WellCare Health Plans, Inc., where he created a long-term enterprise information management strategy, and in positions at several other companies.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Association is a federation of 36 separate United States health insurance companies that provide health insurance to more than 106 million people.
