Careers in Analytics - Jane Yang, IFF

Jane Yang is giving a presentation on careers in analytics on Thursday, March 7 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in DTC Room 470.

Jane Yang is currently the Director of Data Analytics at IFF. As a self-professed "data nerd", Jane is tasked with leading the analytics team and overseeing organizational data strategy, infrastructure, and usage along with administering real time key metric monitoring tools and advising the business teams on how to expedite processes and implement related data system instrumentation. She says she thinks in frameworks and enjoys building systems and processes that are scalable. In her personal life, she likes to think of life choices in terms of probability, and loves working with people. She has worked with a variety of tools such as Excel, R, Tableau, SQL, Matlab, Java, LaTeX, and Python.

IFF is a mission-driven real estate consultancy, developer and lender by offering opportunities for low income communities and those with disabilities.
