Careers in Finance - Katie Fischer, Northern Trust

Katie Fischer, 2nd Vice-President, Northern Trust, will be giving a presentation on careers in finance on Wednesday, April 17 between 4:30-5:30 p.m. in DTC Room 470.

Katie Fischer entered the financial services industry as a broker on an institutional trading desk. After the industry went through drastic changes, she made the transition from client management to operations. As the second VP of Northern Trust, she helps to facilitate internal and external relationships while also administering daily operations. Her specialties include operational and financial management, budget analysis and expense control, and identifying deficiencies and developing cost effective improvements. She also holds an MA and BS in Economics from Eastern Illinois University.
