Diversifying Clinical Psychology in Chicago
The Clinical Psychology Program in the Illinois Tech Department of Psychology, along with five other doctoral programs in clinical psychology in the Greater Chicago area, are co-sponsoring a half-day, free informational workshop about clinical psychology Ph.D. programs for undergraduates who belong to an underrepresented group (including, but not limited to, domains of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, immigration, socioeconomic status, and ability).
Attending this event will be a great opportunity to learn about Ph.D. programs and meet directors, faculty, and students from six local programs who will provide practical information (including financial aid information) and tips for applying to graduate school. A clinical psychologist from an underrepresented group will talk about experiences in graduate school and in the field. Free beverages and snack will be provided.
Participating universities include Illinois Tech, DePaul University, Loyola University Chicago, Northwestern University, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and University of Illinois-Chicago.
Please RSVP to Talissa Dorsaint (tdorsain@hawk.iit.edu) by April 21, 2018. Questions about the event can also be emailed to Talissa.
