Description
Chemical reaction, which can transform chemical energy into mechanical energy or electrical energy, play an import role in the chemical and biological processes. Due to the coupling between chemistry and mechanics, it has been a challenge to describe the reaction-diffusion system in a unified variational way. In the talk, we present a new energetical variational approach for a reaction-diffusion system, which can benefit both theoretical analysis and numerical simulations.
