Family Fun Day: Aviation and Aerospace Engineering

Join Illinois Institute of Technology’s Office of Community Affairs for the third event in the Family Fun series featuring AeroStar/Avion Institute at Siegel Hall, located at 3301 South Dearborn Street on Illinois Tech’s Mies Campus.

In age-appropriate classrooms, you and your child(ren) will learn about aviation and aerospace engineering through age-appropriate activities, stories, and movies. Your family will also learn about the anatomy of an aircraft, the history of aviation, aviation safety, and space exploration. Faculty from Armour College of Engineering and AeroStar will co-lead each session. In addition to registering on Eventbrite, please indicate which classroom you are enrolling your child(ren) in.

Parking is free in Lot A-6 and D-4. Lot A-6 is the closest lot. Siegel Hall is just beyond the grassy field on State Street. Parents MUST remain with their children during the event, and a participation waiver must be completed.
