Hackathon: Sponsored by Microsoft

Microsoft Recruiting is putting on a FREE, 24 hour, multi-university hackathon. This is a great chance to meet several Microsoft technical recruiters in person. You will be able to build something cool or learn a new skill by doing something new. Students from IIT, UIC, DePaul, U of Chicago, Northwestern, Roosevelt, Tribeca Flashpoint, Columbia and more will be in attendance.

Don’t have an idea of what to build for the hackathon? No worries we’ll help channel your inner creative and find an idea. If you don’t have a team, you can compete alone or we’ll help you make new friends and find a team.

There are great prizes for competitors.

Several Xbox Ones, Windows Phones, and more will be awarded as prizes. There will be other members of Microsoft onsite to help answer business and technical questions.

If you don’t want to compete, You can still come to the event and win prizes for learning about and experimenting with new tech.
