Internship & Career Opportunities at Powered by Action

Bjorn Jensen will give a presentation on Internship and Career Opportunities at Powered by Action on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 4:30–5:30 p.m. in Room 490 on the Downtown Campus.

They are looking to recruit students for the following positions: Digital Marketing Interns, QA and Testing Intern, Program Intern, and Fundraising Intern. All Stuart students, including the graduates and undergraduates pursuing marketing analytics, business administration, public administration, and management science are encouraged to attend.

Bjorn Jensen is the chief of staff at Powered by Action, a nonprofit that works to amplify the work of other nonprofit organizations by facilitating communication and connections. Bjorn has a specific background and experience in driving online community engagement through hands-on assistance and cutting-edge research. Bjorn believes all nonprofits can capitalize on the rise in civic engagement by leveraging innovative online technologies to solve society’s toughest problems. Likewise, he believes that increasing the frequency and number of interactions between nonprofits and the people they serve can triple knowledge and behavior changes sought.

Bjorn received his Ph.D. in Organizational Communication and Open Digital Innovation from The Brian Lamb School of Communication at Purdue University and his M.Sc. in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.
