Intro to IIT Engineering Themes and Portfolio

Armour College of Engineering invites students to learn about the IIT Engineering Themes, a distinctive education initiative that enables them to apply technical knowledge from the classroom to real-world settings through site visits, lectures, panel discussions, team-intensive engineering projects, specialized courses, and competitions. The current IIT Engineering Themes are Water, Health, Energy, and Security and reflect areas in which engineers can make an impact at a global level.

At this event, students will also learn more about the IIT Engineering Themes Portfolio, a system that tracks a their progress and creates an entry for each IIT Engineering Themes experience they participate in during their time at IIT. The end product will showcase all the IIT Engineering Themes events a student attended with photos, videos, write-ups, and information about the tangible experience the student gained.
