The Nayar Prize at Illinois Institute of Technology is significant on many levels. Illinois Tech has long been associated with breakthroughs, including the development of the cell phone, research connecting the Antarctic ozone hole to man-made chlorofluorocarbons, and the invention of magnetic tape recording. And recent graduates have been awarded significant patents in emerging areas such as data storage. The Nayar Prize at Illinois Institute of Technology will help Illinois Tech continue to “move the needle” in the direction of meaningful innovation that impacts our communities, our economy, and our environment.
The Nayar Family Foundation is providing an unparalleled chance for members of the Illinois Tech community to be recognized for their extraordinary problem-solving abilities—and their passion to make a real difference in our world.
