Pitch@IllinoisTech
Which aspiring student entrepreneurs will hit a home run with their business plans—and win their share of $50,000 in prizes? Find out at Pitch@IllinoisTech, the university’s business plan competition, where student teams pitch their startups to a panel of judges. The brainchild of the Illinois Tech student group Intinium, Pitch@IllinoisTech celebrates the university’s startup community and the contributions of sponsors, mentors, and judges.
The online event will take place June 11 from 1–4 p.m.
Pitch@IllinoisTech leverages Illinois Tech’s and Chicago’s entrepreneurial community to advance business ideas. Working with the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship, student teams receive mentoring on their business plans from entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, in addition to pitch coaching from communications experts, as part of the competition. Students gain relevant, real-world experience pitching a concept, and practice an entrepreneurial mindset through this exciting competition.
