Description

Porous organic polymers (POPs) are highly porous cross-linked networks that are built from multi-topic organic linkers. Depending on the choice of functionalized organic linker used, POPs can be readily modified through presynthetic or postsynthetic methods to enhance their host-guest interactions for various applications. Recently, POPs have been shown to be very promising catalytic materials that are a blend between traditional homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts. This presentation focuses on the synthesis and characterization of POPs with well-defined active sites and their catalytic performance utilizing high-throughput screening techniques.
