Ten Steps to Sustainability

Armour College of Engineering Students are invited to attend 10 Steps to Sustainability, hosted by Engineers for a Sustainable World - IIT. Nick Conrad of The Green Suite will show students how making small modifications to their everyday lives can create a positive environmental impact on a worldwide scale. Students will be presented with ten steps to modify their lives that will save them money, minimize their environmental impact, and make them happier, healthier people.

The event will conclude with a hands-on workshop where students will learn how to turn an empty water bottle into a hydroponic planter. All students are required to bring their own 12-32 oz empty plastic water bottle. Participants will have a greater understanding of the ecological impact their everyday decisions have on the planet and how to make better eco-friendly choices.
