Virtual Asian American and Pacific Islander Job Fair

The first-ever AAPI Virtual Job Fair is now open for registration. This job fair is designed to provide Asian American Pacific Islander job seekers meaningful opportunities to explore potential employment with employers friendly to the community.

The target participants in our pilot program on April 7 and April 8, 2021 (9 a.m. – 5 p.m. - central time) is FREE for job seekers and employers for basic access including assuming to all resumes, job posting, and scheduling of one-on-one interviews on Day 2. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for additional interaction with job seekers on Day 1.

Day 1 - Education webinars for job seekers with an interactive session with sponsors and special guests.

Day 2 - Interactive pre-scheduled or day of sign-up for online & one-on-one interview and discussion between job seekers and employers

Targeted Job Seekers (all majors)

  1. Students with AAPI heritage who are current enrolled in an American University.
  2. International Students from Asia and Pacific Islands who are currently enrolled or recently graduated from an American University.
  3. Recent AAPI Graduates – from a college or university in America.

The Asian American Executive Network (AAEN) is an informal Network group started in the Chicagoland in 2010 and now expanded to include members in other cities in the United States and globally. The goal of AAEN is to provide a forum for Asian American Executives and Advocates to support each other and the Asian American & Pacific Islander community.

AAEN is partnering with "InternX" who will be providing the software platform and managing the logistics of the two day Virtual Job Fair. AAEN is seeking additional collaborators and volunteers in the following area:

  1. Career Services Department of Universities with large AAPI Student populations
  2. Companies and government agencies with the need for talents and interested in recruiting in the AAPI communities
  3. AAPI organizations that can assist in outreaching to the AAPI Students and Recent Graduates
  4. Organizations and individuals that can provide support for AAPI students and recent graduates the finer points of job seeking and career startup.
