Anand’s Case Study Published in Book on International Management
Smriti Anand, Assistant Professor of Management, has had a book chapter published in International Management and Intercultural Communication: A Collection of Case Studies, edited by Dr. Elizabeth Christopher (Palgrave Macmillan).
Anand’s chapter, “A case study of cross cultural management: Discrepancies between dealing with diversity at corporate and individual levels of employment,” focuses on illustrating diversity management dilemmas faced by contemporary organizations. The case study was co-authored by Dr. D. P. S. Bhawuk (University of Hawaii).
The book is intended for educating graduate and undergraduate business students and for training Human Resource Management professionals. Each case study illustrates how theories of intercultural communication operate in practice in international business and educational contexts.
