Applied Math Faculty Member Wins IPRO Day Faculty Award

Assistant Professor Robert Ellis won an Outstanding IPRO Faculty Award for leading IPRO 321: Developing a Collaborative Online Student Research Forum during the fall 2009 semester.

The first year for this particular IPRO, 321 had students learning web design and computer programming to develop the interactive community. Ananda Abhay, a CSCI fourth year, also won the Team Leadership Award for guiding the team during the semester.
