Armour College of Engineering Researchers Publish First Ever Topology Optimization Study for 3-D Phononic Crystals
Ankit Srivastava, Assistant Professor of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering at Armour College of Engineering, was published in Scientific Reports. The manuscript, 3-D Phononic Crystals with Ultra-Wide Band Gaps, details the first ever topology optimization study for 3-D phononic crystals. The paper was authored with Ph.D. student, Yan Lu in collaboration researchers from John Hopkins University.
