BME Student Shuo Yang Awarded Helmut Reul Young Investigator Award

Shuo Yang (BME, PhD Candidate) was one of five young investigators invited to present at the 22nd Annual Congress of the International Society for Rotary Blood Pumps (ISRBP). Yang gave his presentation, Investigation of the von Willebrand Factor (VWF) Degradation under Controlled Shear Exposures, during the young investigators forum. He was awarded the Helmut Reul Young Investigator Award for his presentation by a panel of judges. Yang was awarded with a plaque and a check for $1,000 during the President’s Report Session at the conference.
