CAEE Assistant Professor Brent Stephens featured on CBS 2

Armour College’s Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering (CAEE) Assistant Professor Brent Stephens conducted field testing with a few of his students to see what Metra riders are breathing in on their daily commute. The test were requested by Reporter Dave Savini at CBS 2 in Chicago. The testing monitored the number of micro-particles present in both Metra stations and on the trains. The results they found were rather alarming. Parham Azimi, PhD candidate, Environmental Engineering, Haoran Zhao, MAS candidate, Environmental Engineering, Akram Ali, MAS candidate, Architectural Engineering, are Dr. Stephens’ students that helped conduct the testing.
