ChBE Graduate Student Selected for Prestigious Course
Armour College of Engineering chemical engineering student, Anand Ramanathan, was recently selected for the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) and Keck Graduate Institute’s (KGI) Managing Science in the Biotech Industry Intensive Course.
Ramanathan is a graduate student in the Karuri Lab. This is a highly prestigious and competitive opportunity. Only 40 individuals are selected to participate worldwide in the course.
The course will introduce PhD scientists to the competencies they will need to thrive in the biotech industry. The course will be held on the KGI campus in Claremont, California. The postdocs and graduate students selected will receive free tuition, round trip airfare, housing and meals for the 12-day course.
