IIT Stuart Students in Interdisciplinary Teams Competing in NIH Neurostartup Challenge
Two teams of IIT students have been accepted to compete in the NIH Neurostartup Challenge, a three-phase national business plan competition sponsored by National Institutes of Health (NIH) where teams develop a business plan for one of 16 NIH-patented technologies.
M.B.A. students Sai Prashant Boy Reddy and Yeshwanth Kumar Lanka and their teammates are exploring a neuroscience therapeutic platform technology designed to treat neurodegenerative diseases. Miriam Gonzalez, co-terminal B.S.B.A./M.P.A. student, and Yupeng Du, M.B.A. student, and their teammates are exploring oncology diagnostic/therapeutic technology for brain cancer. IIT Stuart Adjunct Faculty Thomas Mozer is advising both teams.
