Illinois Tech students and alumni win at TADHack Chicago
Illinois Tech School of Applied Technology alumni and current students were part of 2 of the 4 winning teams of TADHack Chicago. The event was hosted by the Real-Time Communications Lab and held on September 23-24 at IIT’s Mies Campus. TADHack Global is a 24 hour hackathon focused on telecom application development. Teams created a hack using the global sponsors’ resources.
One of the winning projects, Project Sapphire Network, included IIT alumni Yani Mihaylov, Pratik Sampat, and Lucas Zhang. Their project allows small businesses to manage inbound/outbound numbers through a mobile application without spending money on additional telephony hardware. The project won the Telnyx location prize.
The other winning project, called AlCollab, was created by current IIT student, Abhishek Bhardwaj. This project is a deep learning GitHub for doctors and it won the Telnyx and Location prizes.
