Matt Heston gets Data Science for Social Good fellowship

We are happy to announce that Matt Heston, a graduate student in the Humanities, has been accepted into the Eric & Wendy Schmidt Data Science for Social Good fellowship at the University of Chicago this summer!

He will work with other aspiring data scientists and scholars from around the U.S. on projects with social impact for government and non-profit agencies. 

"I'm looking forward to working with really talented people from very diverse backgrounds, and to apply my skills to projects that will help improve peoples' lives," Matt said.
