Patrick Corrigan to give keynote at public launch of the University College London Unit for Stigma Research
Patrick Corrigan, Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Lewis College of Human Sciences, has been invited to give the keynote presentation at the public launch of the Unit for Stigma Research (UCLUS) at University College London. Scheduled for February 16, 2018, the launch event will highlight core areas of UCLUS’ research including the (1) impact of stigma on openness and secrecy around experience of mental health problems and (2) evidence based interventions to challenge stigma faced by people with intellectual disabilities and their family.
The mission of UCLUS is to advance research in the understanding of stigma and what works in challenging it. More information about the event is available online.
