Ph.D. Student Cheng to Present at University of Oxford Conference
Third year Ph.D. student Weiquan Cheng has received a prestigious Graduate Scholar Award to present his paper "Knowledge for Sustainable Development," at the Conference on Knowledge, Culture, and Change in Organizations being held August 4-5, 2014, at University of Oxford's Saïd Business School.
Co-authored by Nasrin R. Khalili, Associate Professor of Environmental Management and Sustainability, the paper provides empirical support for the need for development of educational models that are capable of creating and transferring knowledge to support sustainable development in the new low carbon economies. In addition to presenting his paper, Cheng will serve as a chairperson in parallel sessions during the conference.
