Practice Conversational English Through Stuart’s SPEAK Program
Students Practicing English and Communication Skills, known as SPEAK, is a Stuart co-curricular program giving students the chance to practice their English conversation skills with native-English speakers and learn more about American culture.
For the Fall 2013 semester, more than 40 students provided feedback on their experiences with SPEAK, and nearly 80 percent agreed that the sessions helped improve their speaking skills and understanding of U.S. culture. One hundred percent of those providing feedback say they would recommend the sessions to friends.
Sessions take place at both the downtown and main campuses; registration is not required. View the SPEAK schedule for this semester online, and contact studentaffairs@stuart.iit.edu with any questions.
