SAT Assistant Professor Nominated as President-Elect of MWAIS
Maurice Dawson, an assistant professor of information technology and management at Illinois Institute of Technology, has been nominated to be president-elect of the Midwest chapter of the Association for Information Systems.
Dawson, who is also the director of Illinois Tech’s Center for Cyber Security and Forensics Education, will learn his fate on May 21–22 when elections will take place during MWAIS’s 14th annual conference at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
The MWAIS serves Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The chapter’s goal is promote the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge among scholars and professionals in the Midwest that are engaged in the development, management, and use of information and communications systems and technology.
