Stuart Alumni Selected for EDF Climate Corps Fellowship
David Singler (EMS '16) was selected for the EDF Climate Corps' Graduate Fellowship Program.
EDF Climate Corps is the premier graduate fellowship program to jump-start careers in energy management or sustainability. The EDF Climate Corps program is administered by Environmental Defense Fund which selects qualified candidates from a variety of disciplines to work for a summer embedded within leading organizations to identify customized energy management solutions.
Fellows engage in a broad array of projects, such as equipment upgrades and building retrofits, clean energy generation and procurement, energy data analysis, and sustainability strategy. In addition, they gain access to an exclusive network of over a thousand Climate Corps alumni and other energy and sustainability professionals, interactive training and unique resources, including career opportunities.
Since 2008, EDF Climate Corps has placed over 600 fellows in host organizations including Yahoo, JP Morgan Chase, City of Boston, JLL, Verizon, General Motors, PG&E, Vassar College, and the Chicago Housing Authority.
Another EMS alumni, Karun Abraham Jacob, was selected as a Fellow for this program in the summer of 2014.
