Undergraduate Eda Gjergo Wins Honorable Mention in Astronomy Poster Competition

Eda Gjergo (AMAT and PHYS 5th year) scored in the top five percent and received an honorable mention diploma for her poster at the recent Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Student Awards in Washington, D.C.

The competition is held by the American Astronomical Society (AAS), the major organization of professional astronomers in North America. Nearly 450 students participated.
