Welcome Back, Scarlet Hawks: Wherever We Are, We're Never Alone

Illinois Institute of Technology kicked off the fall semester on Monday, August 24, the start of an academic year that will be like few that came before it.

In the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Illinois Tech welcomed a first-year class of nearly 350 students who hail from 37 different states and 37 different countries.

While courses will be offered entirely online the first two weeks of the semester, they will shift to a hybrid of smaller, socially distanced in-person courses and online instruction beginning on September 8.
