Create a Quiz in Panopto

To Create a Quiz in Panopto, follow these steps: 

1. Open your course in Canvas.
2. Go to Panopto Video on the left-side menu.
3. Choose an existing video from your library or upload a new video to which you want to add a quiz. Click + Create at the top to upload a new video.
4. Click on the Edit button next to the video. This will open the video editor.
5. In the editor, locate and click on the Quizzing tab on the left-hand side.
6. Click on Add a Quiz. This will bring up the quiz creation interface.
7. Move the video timeline to the point where you want to insert the quiz.
8. Click on Add a Question. You can choose from multiple question types such as multiple-choice, true/false, and multiple select.
   • Question Type: Select the type of question you want to create.
   • Question Text: Enter the text for your question.
   • Answer Choices: Provide the possible answers for the question.
   • Correct Answer: Indicate the correct answer(s).
9. After adding your questions, you can customize the quiz settings:
   • Question Order: Rearrange the order of the questions if needed.
   • Quiz Options: Set options such as allowing retakes, showing explanations, and showing results.
10. Once you’ve finished creating your quiz, click on Done.
11. You will be prompted to save your changes.
12. Click on Apply to finalize and publish the quiz in your video.
13. Review the video to ensure the quiz is properly integrated.
14. Share the video with your audience or class by providing the link or embedding the video in your Canvas course.
